Feel free to email or call your federal representatives, especially when they break their oath to uphold the Constitution (which is frequently).

They mostly ignore what you have to say and reply to your concerns with a canned letter. But it’s good to remind them that there are a few people watching as they enact laws to take down civil liberties, bail out mega-banks with taxpayer money, spy on citizens, take over the Internet, and other such nonsense.

And then, when they’re up for re-election, don’t vote them back into office if they’ve voted away your rights!
