Pray for the Christians in the Middle East!
I agree with most of this article. The author is incorrect about Syria, however. As I understand, Assad has routinely protected the minorities in Syria, including the Christians, thus providing the stabilization that the author rightly seeks.

The streets of London fill with thousands marching against Israel’s military operation in Gaza; the West rails mightily against the Russian separatists in Ukraine. But of Iraq there is nothing. Why?
