Below is an update from Campaign for Liberty about Rep. Wright’s anti-NDAA bill. Keep up the pressure! Two phone numbers are provided below; if you’d rather email, here is the place to find email addresses: http://www.leg.state.co.us/clics/clics2013A/cslFrontPages.nsf/HomeSplash?OpenForm
Campaign for Liberty
Your pressure is working!
On Wednesday, members of the Colorado House State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee were forced to table State Representative Jared Wright’s bill, HB13-1045. HB13-1045 would help keep Coloradans safe from indefinite detention by federal agents.
You see, Committee Chairman Su Ryden planned to kill the bill but was forced to table it because she feared it would pass.
Now, the statists in Denver are trying to twist the arms of members on the fence so this bill won’t see the light of day.
Another committee vote on HB13-1045 could come as early as Monday afternoon, February 18.
That’s why it’s so critical you contact the listed Colorado State House Representatives NOW and DEMAND they vote to pass HB13-1045 out of committee.
Inside sources report that the bill has a very good chance of being passed out of committee by only one vote – so we must double our efforts.
Sources at the Capitol tell me that these members may support the bill, but are under intense pressure to change their minds:
Joseph Salazar (D) 303-866-2918
Dominick Moreno (D) 303-866-2964
If you don’t get through on your first try, please keep calling.
There is not a minute to lose! HB13-1045 could be heard again as early as Monday, February 18, at 1:30.
Please contact the members of the committee today!

P.S. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) gave statists the ability to secretly target American citizens and throw them in jail for years – or even decades – without so much as ever giving them a trial!
That’s why it’s so critical you contact the listed Colorado legislators NOW and DEMAND they vote to pass HB13-1045 out of committee. HB13-1045 prohibits the State of Colorado from aiding the Federal government to unconstitutionally detain Colorado citizens.
There is not a minute to lose! State Rep. Jared Wright’s HB13-1045 could pass by a single vote and will be heard again as early as Monday, February 18 at 1:30.
